After 64 years of fundraising, I think some of our committee members are the most inspirational, generous and honourable people you could meet. Every year they come along to our AGM to hear about how their monies are being spent on vital fundamental research right on their doorsteps. I know that they always go away feeling proud to be part of something very special. This year was no exception, but added to that was the honour of being introduced to an incredible lady with a story that touched everyone’s hearts.
Fiona’s words not only put their years of tireless fundraising into absolute perspective, they also generated excitement! Excitement for what is possible from charities and organizations coming together with MNINC, all with the same goal.
Everyone shared in the emotion that came through Fiona’s presentation and were grateful that we were all given the opportunity to see what a beautiful young lady Megan was.
Words such as inspirational, delightful and thought-provoking were being said afterwards!
What Megan started, Fiona has now made her life’s work to pass on to others and we feel great pride in knowing that we can be part of that.
Megan has a legacy like no other - and NWCRF is proud to be exploring opportunities with MNINC for the future.
Kind regards
