About the Feature Focus
The Feature Focus is the ONLY dedicated area within My name is NOT cancer, for health professionals and cancer support.
It`s our intention to include an informal focus on the different professional and support roles, that may be encountered by individuals when on a cancer pathway.
Each feature will be highlighted within this area, and previous articles archived, remaining available for continuity of access.
Information on these roles may only be relevant to some individuals, depending on their particular journey with cancer however, we hope to include all possible avenues of care and support.
In order to retain the essence of ‘My name is NOT cancer’, MNINC will not promote one particular professional role or organisation. We intend to provide comprehensive and varied information as to what those 'real people' within service do, to help you maintain identity and sense of self when affected by a cancer diagnosis or facing serious illness.
